We were excited to welcome local artist Enchan Endo into our studio last month to work on a fun little project. For those of you who don’t know Enchan, he is an amazing illustrator and artist that creates truly unique and inspiring pieces. We love his work!
A few years ago, Enchan had sketched an image for my sister and her husband when they got married. It’s a really neat piece that they framed and just love. With their anniversary approaching, my sister thought it would be a fun suprise to have the image put on t-shirts for her and her husband. Enter Printworks Screen Printing!
We told Enchan that we were planning on putting his sketch on a t-shirt and he immediately showed interest in learning about the screen printing process. We invited him to come in and watch us turn his sketch from paper to a t-shirt. The t-shirts turned out great, and we had lots of fun printing them. We look forward to working with Enchan again in the future!
This was a great print, 1 colour wide format screen done with one stroke of the squeegee! Black ink is the easiest to print with.
Looks like the ink has transferred really well. That style of drawing seems to lend itself to screen printing.
